MAKÜ’lü Bilim İnsanları COST Projesi Kapsamında Yunanistan'ın Aristotle Üniversitesi'ndeydiler

Our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Kırbaş and our university faculty members Dr. Lecturer Osman Tayfun Bişkin and Dr. Lecturer Ali Çelik attended the training school on Gravitational Waves, Geophysics and Machine Learning held in Thessaloniki, Greece, within the scope of the international COST project coded CA17137 titled “A network for Gravitational Waves, Geophysics and Machine Learning”. The event was hosted by Aristotle University Physics Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Nikolaos Stergioulasev. The training aimed to provide participants with a strong foundation in the basic concepts of machine learning techniques and to equip them with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for applications such as seismic noise analysis in the field of Gravitational Wave Astronomy.
